The Jesuit Pot is one of the most emblematic pieces of the Chinese ceramics collection of the Dr. Anastácio Gonçalves House-Museum, being classified as an Asset of National Interest. It is an important white porcelain pot, with cobalt blue decoration, dated between 1620/1644, from the Ming Dynasty and produced in Jingdezheng, China. This piece stands out for displaying an emblem of the Society of Jesus, being an important testimony of the Portuguese presence and the influence of the Jesuits in the East.
