This workshop invites participants to discover the role of museums as spaces for the preservation and appreciation of heritage. Through the exploration of different types of collections, such as automobiles, toys, footwear, ceramics, hats, sculpture, photography, musical instruments, scientific instruments, games, books, masks, furniture, coins, bones, stones, paintings, postcards, stamps, telecommunications, clothing, and more, young participants will enter the world of collectors — true “treasure hunters” attentive to unique objects and stories.
Starting from the observation of the School Museum’s collection and small example collections, each participant will be challenged to imagine and draw their own “Super Collection”, choosing the objects, the exhibition format, the name of the collection, and the ideal place to display it.
This activity aims to encourage creativity, curiosity, and the appreciation of cultural heritage in a playful and participatory way.
