Chords of Peace

CHORDS OF PEACE is the inaugural moment of the celebrations of the International Museum Day at the Museums and Monuments of Portugal. On May 17, at 4:00 pm, 26 concerts will be held simultaneously, involving 35 choral groups, in museums, monuments and palaces from north to south of the country. The initiative articulates a common musical program with local artistic proposals, affirming music as a universal language and museums as spaces for meeting, dialogue and participation. At the Grão Vasco National Museum, the Mixed Choir of the Conservatory of Music of Viseu José Azeredo Perdigão will perform, with conductor Cristina Aguiar and Professor Anícia Costa on the piano.
